Hello, I'm Meg. I understand how intimidating it can be to seek support, and I do my best to show up with my personality so that my clients feel safe and comfortable in the therapy space. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Atlanta, Georgia, I bring over 8 years of experience to our sessions. I earned my Master's degree from Georgia State University and am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), which means I have a specialty in working with adults with disabilities.
I enjoy working with individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum support, depression, family relationships, life transitions, medical issues, and stress. My specialty is helping those experiencing significant life adjustments, such as welcoming a new baby, starting a new job, entering a new relationship, or adapting to an acquired disability. My clients are typically active participants in therapy, motivated towards change, but often feel stuck or overwhelmed with where to start.
My approach to therapy is to highlight your individual strengths while guiding you to a place of healing and introspection. I believe in the power of humor and pragmatism, which allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level where true healing can take place.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy attending music festivals, traveling, and cooking with my partner. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life.
