As part of a team of professionals at Better Mental Health of KY, I will strive to help you overcome the emotional obstacles that keep you from living your best life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years of direct practice experience. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I believe in supportive care that guides rather than directs my clients' choices. I work with a diverse client population who present with various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, substance abuse, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and issues of aging. I am trained in evidence-based psychotherapy models and frequently use Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered approaches. I believe in meeting the clients' needs above all else and will tailor an approach that best matches your presentation and comfort level.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am available for teletherapy visits only and work with clients throughout the state of Kentucky. Typical sessions are 50 minutes in duration and initially occur weekly or biweekly with transition in frequency as we make progress in the treatment plan we develop together after our initial intake session.
