What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, and I work closely with each client to better understand their experiences, challenges, and personal goals. I strive to create a comfortable space where clients can openly process emotions, build insight, and develop healthier coping strategies at their own pace. Because every individual is different, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, mood disorders, life transitions, and stress-related concerns. I also have experience supporting individuals and families through crisis situations and complex emotional challenges. Clients can expect a balanced approach that combines emotional support with practical tools and skill-building. My goal is to help clients strengthen resilience, improve self-awareness, and feel more empowered in their daily lives and relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship and gaining a clear understanding of each client’s concerns, history, and goals for treatment. During the initial sessions, I conduct a comprehensive assessment to explore emotional, behavioral, relational, and environmental factors that may be affecting overall well-being. Together, we identify priorities and develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects the client’s specific needs and strengths. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual. Depending on the client’s goals, therapy may focus on processing past experiences, improving coping skills, managing symptoms of anxiety or depression, strengthening relationships, increasing emotional regulation, or developing healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed interventions when appropriate. I encourage open communication throughout the therapeutic process and adjust treatment as clients grow and their needs evolve. My goal is to provide a supportive and structured environment where clients feel empowered to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.
