Getting to know Margot Logan
Margot Logan has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 35 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. She has extensive experience working with individuals and families, including those with chronic medical and/ or mental health issues, teen parents, and those involved in the child welfare system. She also has over 20 years of experience in the adoption field, writing home studies, working with birth and adoptive parents, and conceptualizing and facilitating a monthly adoptive parent support group. In 2004, Mrs. Logan established Forever Families Adoption Services, which provides birth parent services and home study and post placement/post adoption services for private adoptions, both domestic and international. In 2009, Mrs. Logan established A Better Life Counseling Services. Her specialties are adoption-related issues, counseling around relationship and parenting issues, anxiety and depression, and parenting children with special needs. Mrs. Logan is trained as a Collaborative Law mental health professional and in EMDR. She is also a Qualified Supervisor for Masters level Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists who are pursuing licensure.
