More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I would have chosen authentic, direct, and solution ortientated aswell if I could have picked more than 2.
She is intuitive and an absolute God-sent. I could not imagine anyone more perfect to be my therapist.
I need a patient understanding doctor that accepts my insurance.

I only had one appointment with Maria. I think Maria would be a good therapist for some people who are looking for someone very direct and who looks at things from a more analytical perspective. For me, it was just overwhelming and I felt a bit hurt by some of the things she said. It was my first appointment and it did not feel like a very safe space for me. I think that moving forward I need a more compassionate and empathetic therapist, since it's my first time seeking therapy and I am already nervous and sensitive about my trauma and mental health issues. If you are looking for someone to really get to the bottom of your issues, and to "get it done" then I'd say she is a good therapist. She seemed very critical in her thinking, and that can be good for some people, but it felt overwhelming for me. But in my brief experience, if you are looking for someone who is sensitive, maybe go to someone else. Her approach felt a bit abrasive.

Maria Arana has helped me understand the why’s behind my personal communication style and given me the tools to improve it. I only wish I’d began sooner now. Life changing.
