I believe everyone is different and as such I work to ensure that the therapeutic strategies used in our sessions are tailored to each client.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Facing our fears and long-held beliefs can be a challenge. My philosophy includes meeting you where you are while working to challenge the thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck. My goal is to empower you to make the changes rather than telling you what you should do. My approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, strength based therapy, problem solving, and mindfulness based interventions.

My first session isn’t just a time for demographic gathering. It’s an opportunity to answer your questions about therapy, how I work as a counselor, to explore your expectations and to begin building our therapeutic relationship including trust, support and engagement.
