Getting to know Maria Hoang

Life can be stressful, and I'm here to help you cope with life's struggles so you don't have to continue carrying these issues alone. I like to take my time getting to know each unique individual and provide a safe and respectful environment to establish an open and trustworthy relationship. During our time together, you will learn to reflect on what you are experiencing and work on practical solutions to immediate problems while exploring maladaptive patterns of thinking, behaviors, and feelings that stem from past experiences. I will also work with you and support you on your journey to embrace positive lifestyle changes. I offer individual sessions and specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, racial trauma, and racial identity. I am trained in CBT, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and will incorporate mindfulness practices to develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care. Together, we can explore your strengths, needs, and abilities to inspire growth and change in your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
