Hi there, I'm Maria! My name is Maria Mangiardi, and I hold an LCPC license. I earned my Master's in Community Counseling from National Louis University. My approach to therapy looks at the total mind, body, and spirit of a person and how all areas of life can affect mental health. I specialize in a variety of areas, such as Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQ, and OCD, to name a few. My approach I consider the totality of a person because possible medical issues, relationship challenges, and environmental influences can all be factors in mental health. My focus I typically work with adults over the age of 18. Many of my clients come to me questioning their life relationships, stressors, and internal struggles. My communication style I provide a trusting, compassionate, and nonjudgmental atmosphere where you can relax and feel at ease sharing your concerns. My journey to therapy Being a therapist comes naturally to me. My willingness to listen, be compassionate and empathic, along with my general understanding and intuitive personality, allow me to speak my truth.
