I work best with clients who are seeking relief from the people-pleasing, codependency loop that leads to exhaustion and low moods. I have successfully supported clients who have experienced emotional and psychological manipulation and abuse and are looking to break free from old behavioral patterns to find a new way of living. Many of my clients have found freedom from old roles they have played in systems that no longer fit their current lifestyle. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. I am currently seeing clients through telehealth only.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Maria's experience includes the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Exposure Therapy as well as other treatment modalities . Maria works with adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety , relationship concerns, mood disorders and ADHD.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work best with clients who are interested in building self-esteem, and interdependence through finding boundaries within the family system and in outside relationships, learning about their individual preferences, and taking action to build a life they enjoy .
