Hello! My name is Maria, and I am a seasoned LCSW with a Master’s in Social Work from Long Island University and 7 years of psychotherapy experience. I have expertise in working with clients who are experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and challenges within their romantic and interpersonal relationships. If you are currently feeling stuck, don’t worry! One constant in life is that things will always change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in helping you set obtainable manageable goals to lower your symptoms and help you learn how to cope better. With a bit of guidance, I believe that everyone has the power to improve their day to day and increase their overall quality of life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I approach therapy from a CBT lens. I am very much strengths and person centered and believe that you have a lot more power in your own life and thinking then you may think. I have an empathetic but forward approach and am excited to help you work towards your goals.
