Psychotherapist
NV
You may look like you have everything together on the outside, but inside you feel exhausted. Your mind rarely slows down. You replay conversations, overthink decisions, worry about disappointing others, and carry responsibilities that no one else seems to notice. You may be the person everyone depends on while quietly struggling yourself. Over time, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, and chronic stress can leave you feeling emotionally drained and disconnected from yourself. I am a licensed therapist providing telehealth therapy to teens and adults throughout Nevada. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or feeling stuck in the same emotional patterns, therapy can help you better understand yourself and create lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. You don't need the perfect words or a clear plan to begin. Together, we'll start exactly where you are. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, we'll explore the patterns keeping you stuck with curiosity instead of self-criticism. Rather than seeing anxiety or self-doubt as something that's "wrong" with you, we'll build greater self-compassion, emotional resilience, and practical skills to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life that matters most to you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

One of the most important things I want new clients to know is that therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without worrying about being judged or having all the right answers. My style is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I believe therapy works best when we work together as a team. Rather than telling you what to do, I'll help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns so you can make choices that align with the life you want to create. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps people develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful steps toward what matters most. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy to help clients better understand different parts of themselves with greater compassion instead of self-criticism. Depending on your goals, I may also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and practical coping strategies. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, overthinking, perfectionism, or major life changes. Together, we'll focus on reducing emotional distress while building resilience, self-compassion, healthier boundaries, and practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. My hope is that you'll leave each appointment feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is focused on getting to know you. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your current concerns, discuss your personal strengths, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and decide whether we're a good fit. From there, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals. Some days we'll process difficult emotions or past experiences, while other sessions may focus on learning practical coping skills, managing anxiety, improving relationships, setting healthy boundaries, or working through challenges as they arise. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling understood, encouraged, and equipped with tools that help you continue making progress between appointments.
