Hi there, I'm Marianne! Hello, my name is Marianne Bahler, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Camarillo, California, working with clients statewide through telehealth. I feel honored to work with families and couples seeking to reduce conflict and increase intimacy, as well as helping parents build positive parenting skills and connection with their children. I also assist individual adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, problematic behaviors, and negative relationship patterns, collaborating with them to develop helpful ways to cope with life's challenges. My approach Every client is unique, so my approach varies to best tailor therapy to each person's circumstances, needs, and wishes. I work through a family systems and attachment theory lens as a Restoration Therapist, using this framework to help clients recognize underlying fears and difficult emotional triggers while supporting them in becoming unstuck from their “pain cycles.” Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is another framework I utilize in my therapeutic work. I am also happy to offer therapy from a Christian framework if desired, while respecting the differences and preferences of each person. My focus I typically work with teenagers, individual adults, couples, and families to improve the quality of their lives. I especially enjoy working with teenagers and their parents conjointly to enhance their connections and communication. In addition to relational issues, I assist individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, problematic behaviors, life transitions, grief, and loss, as well as helping people better manage the stress we inevitably face in life.
