Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, eating disorders, relationships, parenting, autism, ADHD, adoption, foster care, oppositional defiance disorder and other challenging childhood diagnoses have been some of the issues I’ve helped people understand and manage. Whether it's how you look at relationships with a spouse, a child, family members, or friends, you can take control of your perspective, which leads to a happier life. I offer a personalized approach helping you make the connection between how thoughts affect your experience, giving you control over both. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a proven method that targets the individual's internal voices with the goal of developing a positive internal guide. For parents, I help them understand the child's diagnoses and how to support the child's self-esteem, mood and ultimately behaviors using an evidence-based parenting program called The Nurtured Heart Approach.
