Getting to know Marianne Bradley-Arkush

Attention: Does not take Medicaid or Medicare - Does take United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan Areas of concentration: Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, eating disorders, relationships, parenting, autism, ADHD, adoption, foster care, oppositional defiance disorder and other challenging childhood diagnoses have been some of the issues I’ve helped people understand and manage. Whether it's how you look at relationships with a spouse, a child, family members, or friends, you can take control of your perspective, which leads to a happier life. I offer a personalized approach helping you make the connection between how thoughts affect your experience, giving you control over both. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a proven method that targets the individual's internal voices with the goal of developing a positive internal guide. For parents, I help them understand the child's diagnoses and how to support the child's self-esteem, mood and ultimately behaviors using an evidence-based parenting program called The Nurtured Heart Approach.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Learning and sharing information is what makes humans so amazing and gives us the ability to evolve. I'd like to share my expertise with you in hopes of making your path, an easier one.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I deliver supportive therapy over Zoom/telehealth. My approach is strength-based building on the strengths of the individual to strengthen their self-image and life outcomes.

Marianne has been my therapist for many years and has helped me tremendously using parenting therapy, couple’s counseling and individual therapy. She is very knowledgeable with the Nurtured Heart Approach and John Gottman studies among other approaches. Marianne is pleasant, friendly and easy to talk with. She is flexible with her schedule and tries to work with you and your schedule to set up your sessions. She is a good communicator. I have recommended many friends of mine to her, and they have liked her as a therapist too. I highly recommend Marianne as a therapist!
Marianne has truly changed my life. She is, without question, the best therapist I’ve ever worked with. From our very first session, I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Her compassion, empathy, and ability to meet me exactly where I was made me feel safe enough to do the hard work of healing. No matter what I brought into our sessions, Marianne never judged me. Instead, she gently helped me understand myself better while giving me practical tools and coping skills. My “therapy toolbox” have become part of who I am, and I know I’ll carry them with me for the rest of my life. Because of Marianne, I don’t just feel like I survived one of the hardest seasons of my life. I truly feel like a new person. She helped me find strength I didn’t know I had, belief in myself again, and to build a healthier, happier version of myself. That is a gift I can never fully repay. I cannot recommend Marianne enough. I will always be grateful for the impact she has had on my life.
Marianne has been an absolute blessing to my family. I can’t say enough good things about her. She helped me see parenting from a different perspective, and because of that, my relationship with my children has grown so much. The Nurtured Heart Approach isn’t just something she teaches-she truly lives it. Marianne has a way of making you feel heard, understood, and encouraged instead of judged. Every session leaves me hopeful and excited to put what I’ve learned into practice. As a mom who has been through a difficult custody journey, I’ve worked with many professionals over the years. Marianne stands out because she genuinely cares. She takes the time to understand your family and gives practical tools that actually work. I’ve seen positive changes not only in my children, but in myself as a parent. I’m incredibly grateful our paths crossed. If you’re looking for someone compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping families thrive, I can’t recommend Marianne enough.
Marianne is great - she listens closely and gives great advice, including how to word things when dealing with problem people. Very happy with her service!
I am so thankful to have met Marianne. Life has changed so much since starting sessions with her a year ago. She hs shown amazing support without any judgement. I would recommend her a million times over!!
I've had the privilege of working with Marianne, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She introduced me to the Nurtured Heart Approach, and her knowledge, guidance, and ability to teach it have made a tremendous difference in my life and in my relationship with my son. She doesn't just explain the concepts—she helps you truly understand how to put them into practice in everyday situations. Because of her support, I've been able to implement these techniques consistently, and I've seen significant positive changes in my son's behavior, confidence, and our overall relationship. Marianne is compassionate, knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping families succeed. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment while providing practical tools that actually work. I am incredibly grateful for everything she has taught me and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who is both skilled and deeply caring.
Marianne was so easy to talk, always found me a way to cope with everything I have going on, and was super flexible in fitting me in. I am now mentally stronger, and more confident because of Marianne!
