I have been an employee of Public Health Trust/Jackson Health System for 23 years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people across the lifespan- from newborns to adults- in both community-based and hospital settings. My early work focused on vulnerable youth, including children who had experienced abuse, abandonment, or involvement in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. I’ve collaborated closely with courts, law enforcement, schools, and advocacy organizations to support children with special needs and survivors of sexual exploitation and trauma. Over the last six years, my work has grown to include adults in various hospital setting.
