Getting to know Maribel Guerra

I'm a bilingual licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and over seventeen years of experience working with clients facing a wide range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. I have extensive training and experience using various evidence-based practices. My experience includes nine years with the Department of Mental Health and over four years at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the South Los Angeles area. The first session consists of an assessment. In the second session, we work on developing your treatment plan. The duration of therapy sessions is unique to each client. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe space for clients and to guide them through the therapeutic process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I want to be of assistance in helping clients achieve their personal goals and utilize evidence base practices to structure the sessions.

Ongoing session: $180 for 60 minutes

I'm accepting self-pay clients. If your insurance accepts out-of-network, I charge the full rate ($180) at the end of the session and can provide you a super bill. If I'm in-network, you are responsible to pay the difference of the contracted rate.
