My name is Marie Martinez, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas Tech University. I went on to further my education by obtaining master’s degrees in clinical Practice Management and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In 2023 I began pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have a passion for assisting others in their journey of healing from within. Life experiences can bring about many feelings and emotions that may make it difficult to show one’s true self, I am here to help one navigate through those life experiences and aide in the healing process. I have experience in working with those who have experienced difficulties with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also enjoy working with those whose overall goal is to maintain a healthy mental well-being. My area of expertise is in providing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with different mental health concerns.
