Getting to know Mariel Juarez

Is your relationship with sex complicated? Let's get to the bottom (or top) of it. Does it seem like your mindset is not matching your behavior? I offer a frank counseling experience for couples and individuals to help you understand your relationship with sex, yourself, and your partner. While I can't teach you how to give head, I can help you understand why you might be resisting giving or receiving it. With a Master's in Social Work from New York University, I will work with you at your pace; together we will find understanding and clarity in your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Whatever the goals for therapy, they will be set by you according to what you want to work on in counseling. The therapist may make suggestions on how to reach that goal but you decide where you want to go.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You’re coming to therapy because something is bothering you, so lets start creating some relief for you as soon as possible so when we first start working together, it’s best to meet at least once a week.
