What should a new client know about working with you?

What you can expect from our sessions Deciding to start therapy is not the easiest decision which is why you will always set the pace. It is also important for each session to have structure and a purpose aligned with your overall goals. The therapeutic environment is based on trust, not only in the trust we share between therapist and client, but in building a foundation based on open communication and an understanding that you will never be pushed past what is safe at that point in the process. My strength based, client centered approach will ensure you are feeling capable and confident to manage life’s complexities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A bit about my approach to therapy Through forming a trusting partnership, we will explore core areas of the past and present and how best to approach them. You are the expert on your own life and I am here to help you learn skills and tools to manage life's ups and downs. I emphasize the importance of a non-judgmental space for all my clients to feel comfortable discussing a wide range of concerns. My areas of expertise include working with individuals and couples, members in the LGBTQ+ community, relationship dynamics including poly and ethical non-monogamous relationships, women’s issues, PCOS, sex/intimacy issues, self-esteem/self-worth, body image issues and trauma.
