Hello, I'm Miko Ketchin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Welcome to my practice! I am licensed in Colorado and New Mexico. I use an integrated therapeutic approach, blending psychodynamic, body-centered, and mindfulness techniques to help you navigate the ups and downs of this ever-changing, 'wild and precious life.' My goal is to assist you in feeling more at ease, connected, and alive as you face life's challenges. In our sessions, we will explore how past events and experiences may be influencing your present-day reactions through a psychodynamic approach. I am trained in the Hakomi method of experiential psychotherapy, which allows us to utilize the wisdom of the body to uncover and understand any unconscious limiting beliefs that may be affecting you. By emphasizing mindfulness, we bring the present moment into focus, furthering your self-inquiry and healing. I have extensive experience working with individuals experiencing relationship or life stress, depression, anxiety, and issues related to grief. My specialties include working with military service members and families, anxiety, depression, dementia, grief/bereavement, life transitions, PTSD, and trauma. Working with me means you'll have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll work towards your goals, using techniques that resonate with you and your unique situation. My approach is compassionate and tailored to your needs, ensuring that you feel heard and understood throughout our time together.
