Getting to know Mario Daniel Schteingart
Therapy can be healing, communicative, and an avenue to self-discovery. It offers a way to access social skills, self-expression, and self-awareness. I hold a Master's in Music Therapy from New York University, which enriches my approach to helping clients navigate their emotions.

What should a new client know about working with you?
My focus is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Through songwriting, music-guided relaxation, music listening, verbal processing, drumming, talking it out and much more.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My promise is to be there for you every step of your journey, to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Dan is a excellent guitar teacher and fine human being. He taught me how to play some of my favorite songs and helped me learn some new techniques. I had fun taking lessons with him.
Dan is also very knowledgeable about technology and how various pedals, samplers and drum machines can be used to enhance practice and performance.

Dan is an excellent guitar teacher and has been wonderful for our 6 year old son. He’s truly passionate about music and nurtures a love of music in his students. Our son started with Dan for guitar lessons but Dan broadened his learning to piano and songwriting as well. Dan is very kind and gentle towards kids - he even engaged our 2 year old in a lesson when she was trying to disturb her brother! Dan has made music learning a very positive experience for our family and we will always be thankful to him for that.
