I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the great state of Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas-Pan American and a minor in mathematics. I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field and I have enjoyed every bit of it! I have been a case manager, skills trainer, an emergency psychiatric screener for the mental health authority of the Rio Grande Valley, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health. I have also worked in the field substance use doing individual and group sessions. My career as a therapist started in 2012. Since then, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide array of concerns to include: Stress, Anxiety, Depression, LGBT Issues, Gender Identity Issues, Trauma, Physical and Emotional Abuse, Relationship Issues, Grief, OCD, and Parenting Skills.
