With 20 years of experience in the mental health field and 12 years specifically utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I have had the privilege of helping many individuals from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to ensure that you leave each session feeling better equipped to handle life's challenges. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas-Pan American. My career has been enriched by roles such as case manager, skills trainer, and emergency psychiatric screener at Tropical Texas Behavioral Health. Since becoming a therapist in 2012, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults on a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQIA+ support, gender identity issues, relationship problems, and more.
