Hello, I am Mario, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor currently practicing in Florida. I have worked in mental health for all of my adult life. I believe that everyone's life has value, and I have definitely found my own meaning working in this field, where I have been fortunate to help many people improve their lives and their approaches to difficult times. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. My clinical background is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Existential Therapy, and I also utilize approaches from related therapies including Person-Centered, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral, and Reality Therapy. I love working with trauma survivors, care providers, and really anybody in need. I look forward to helping you!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Teletherapy provider, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral and Existential Therapies. I am available for short-term and long-term therapy, based on client need. Sessions are 45 minutes and can happen weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly, based on need and client preference.

If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
