Life is filled with bumps and bruises and is often difficult to make sense of at times. There are steps we can take to help ourselves find a new and fresh path on our journey. I personally want to congratulate you on taking this major first step forward. My approach to therapy is both from a Christian and a psychological approach. We will be exploring the root causes of our struggles while discussing viable solutions of how to live a healthy mental life, while looking forward to a productive and blessed future. I am here to offer you a safe and supportive environment. Reach out when you are ready to move forward. I am excited to hear from you and help you start your new journey. My approach I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based therapy, which has a proven record of being effective. Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), we can uncover negative thinking and work to view circumstances in a healthier way. Trauma-focused therapy will help with healthier coping skills and methods of processing trauma. Trauma can affect a person’s mental, physical, and spiritual health. Motivational interviewing will assist you in learning to change unhealthy behavioral patterns. Solution-focused, which focuses on current and future experiences. Together, we will identify challenges and move forward with strategies that are helpful. I incorporated coping skills that can be an integral part of treatment. Mind Reflection, Therapeutic Breathing, Meditation, Mindfulness, and Sleep Hygiene are only a part of helpful coping skills as we work toward the best life possible. My focus Life can be more of a challenge when we struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, or trauma. You may be facing challenges when trying to find your place in life as a young adult, making college decisions such as choosing a career, or building healthy relationships. Adults have their own unique issues, regrets, past traumas, caring for children, and aging parents.
