Hi, I'm Dr. Marisol Blanco, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Qualified Supervisor with over 15 years of practice. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. My passion is to help clients who are experiencing life transitions, whether these experiences are welcomed or not. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, adjustment difficulties to life stages and situations, relationships, and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

By combining EFIT & CBT approaches, I help my clients increase their self/others' acceptance and compassion, establish appropriate loving/caring relationships, and increase their confidence in facing challenges that get in the way of pursuing their life goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I know that our mental/emotional health suffers based on situations that are very real, yet we don't have to suffer alone. I can help you to get unstuck from the past and to feel more balanced in the present. Reaching out is the first, and for some, the most difficult step. I hope you give yourself the opportunity to reach out when you need to. Our initial sessions focus on building mutual trust and identifying the treatment goals that can help you to go through life with better support and increased self-compassion. I rely on validation, humor, and strengths-identification to gently help my clients.
