Getting to know Marisol Jimenez
Im Marisol, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience specializing in helping women navigate life transitions, heal attachment wounds, and rediscover their authentic selves. I graduated in 2007 with a masters degree in mental health and have dedicated my career to understanding how our early experiences shape who we become, and more importantly, how we can transform those patterns.
My journey began working extensively with children impacted by trauma, utilizing EMDR and traumainformed modalities. Through this work, I witnessed firsthand how attachment wounds form and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. What I discovered was profound when mothers heal themselves and show up authentically, entire families transform. This realization shifted my practice focus entirely.
Now I work exclusively with adult women, particularly mothers navigating midlife, who are ready to do the deeper work while also seeking practical solutions. My therapeutic style blends clinical expertise with a coaching mindset. Im trained in trauma treatment and deeply understand childhood wounds, but I work in a strengthbased, real, practical way that focuses on empowerment and growth, not pathology.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
