Starting college, beginning a career, navigating relationships, or figuring out who you are can come with a lot of change and a lot of questions. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as yourself, talk openly, and feel genuinely heard and understood. I especially enjoy working with college students, young adults, and people navigating their 20s, as well as adults experiencing transitions at other stages of life. I support clients working through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and major life changes. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain about what comes next, or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and find a path forward. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you. We’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationships shape the way you respond to challenges. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back, develop healthier ways of coping, and build a stronger sense of confidence and control in your everyday life. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine partnership built on trust, compassion, and authenticity. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, navigate relationships with greater confidence, strengthen your sense of identity, and develop practical tools you can carry into everyday life. I am LGBTQ+ allied and committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for every client. I provide secure telehealth therapy throughout New Jersey, offering personalized support from the comfort and privacy of your home.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation, not a place where you have to have everything figured out before you walk in. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are while helping you work toward where you want to be, whether that means navigating a life transition, understanding your relationships, or simply feeling more like yourself again. In our work together, we’ll look at the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be shaping how you feel, how you relate to others, and how you respond when life gets difficult. We’ll work on building self-awareness, strengthening your confidence, and developing practical ways to manage anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions. I want you to leave therapy with a better understanding of yourself and tools that actually make sense for your everyday life. You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you begin. We can figure that out together. Some days may involve deeper reflection, while other sessions may focus on a specific situation, relationship, or challenge that’s coming up in your life. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while still creating space for meaningful growth. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported while also leaving sessions with something you can take with you into real life, whether that’s a new perspective, a practical coping strategy, or a better understanding of yourself and what you want moving forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and figure out what you’d like support with. We’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and goals, while making space for any questions you have. From there, we’ll create a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you. As we continue, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with supportive, person-centered approaches. We’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and identify patterns that may be affecting your mood, relationships, or everyday life. Together, we’ll develop healthier ways of thinking, coping skills, and practical strategies that you can use outside of therapy. Sessions may focus on anxiety or depression, relationship and friendship challenges, communication and boundaries, difficult emotions, self-esteem, or navigating life transitions. What we focus on can change from session to session based on what you need and what’s happening in your life. Therapy is a collaborative process, so we’ll regularly check in and adjust our focus as you grow. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, confidence, self-understanding, and practical tools to help you move forward.
