Welcome! My name is Marissa, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
Do you sometimes feel like you can't quite accomplish what you want-in your personal life, work, or relationships? Does your mind get bogged down or overwhelmed with all of those thoughts and things you want or wish you could be achieving?
I believe that everyone deserves to be heard while owning the ability to work through the situations that arise during our lives. My goal is to partner with you to work through what brings you to this point in your life and to assist in navigating your goals to continue on your life path while finding balance. I treat everyone as an individual, with a warm and caring yet direct approach. I offer a judgment-free environment focused on your goals and open communication, both of which I believe are essential to our therapeutic relationship.
Whether you are working through anxiety, relationship or sexual concerns, family conflict, or grief and loss, I am here to provide a compassionate environment to explore all areas that make you who you are. I look forward to partnering with you to make positive changes in your life.
What should a new client know about working with you?
While working together, I like to utilize a holistic approach assessing and addressing your physical, mental, emotional, and social needs. Getting to know who you are, what you value, and the areas you want to explore and address are the main focus of our first session together. As we build our working relationship, the focus will be to identify the goals you would like to work toward while exploring and altering the thoughts and choices keeping you from where you want to be.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
