Getting to know Marjorie Zurbaran

More and more people are searching for emotional health, mental stability, peace, and love in today's world. In our quest to achieve this stability, we often look outside ourselves and, unfortunately, still experience feelings of emptiness within. It is not until we truly begin the journey of inner search that the magic starts to happen. Let me tell you, I am here to guide and support you through this journey. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1998. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, where I completed my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology at Universidad del Norte. Later, in Florida, I earned my Master's in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in 1995. I offer you more than 30 years of experience with conventional and alternative emotional and mental healing modalities. I have worked with various mental health issues and age groups grappling with diverse challenges, including but not limited to adjustment disorders, difficulties dealing with change and loss, anxiety, chronic worry, grief, social anxiety, depression, and autism. I have extensive experience in mental health and mindfulness practices, and I love merging both to bring a holistic approach to my work with clients. Through experiential exercises, I encourage and support you in developing effective coping strategies to manage the pressures of daily life, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote overall wellness. I assist my clients in finding and rediscovering their inner strengths, which ultimately provide the coping skills they need. In my day-to-day life, I enjoy many activities such as meditating, reading, cooking vegetarian dishes, traveling, spending time with family?especially the kids?taking walks by the beach, and experiencing sunrises and sunsets. My hope in helping humanity is to bring lightness and healing to my work with clients during these difficult times.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
