Hello, I'm Mark, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in the Rio Grande Valley. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment facilities, the Texas Foster Care System, the Public School System, and ORR Shelters. My experience spans from helping youth to adults achieve mental health wellness, and I am committed to providing professional, understanding, and quality service to each of my clients. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from UTPA (now known as The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) in 2010, followed by a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2014. Since 2017, I've been practicing as an LPC-I and now as an LPC in the state of Texas. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of the unique challenges each individual faces. Whether you're dealing with OCD, stress, anxiety, depression, or navigating life transitions, I'm here to support you. I also specialize in working with adolescents and teens, addressing anger management, children's mental and behavioral health, family relationships, intimate and romantic relationships, phobias, and trauma.
