Psychotherapist
NC
Hi, I’m Mark. I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want to honor the courage it takes just to take this step. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I work with children, teens, and adults who may be navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, or challenges with self-esteem and relationships. I also support individuals and families impacted by addiction. My approach is compassionate and collaborative—I believe therapy works best when we work together, at your pace, toward goals that truly matter to you. In our sessions, I often use practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, but I also make room for creativity, spirituality, and personal strengths. Healing isn’t just about reducing struggles; it’s also about finding hope, building resilience, and reconnecting with what gives your life meaning. I became a therapist because I’ve seen firsthand how much people carry silently, and I believe no one should have to walk through life’s hardest seasons alone. Outside of counseling, I’m a musician and worship leader who loves using music as a way to bring people together and create healing moments. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this journey of growth and restoration.
