Hello, I'm Mark. As we start our journey at the bottom of the mountain, we must understand there are several paths to the top. All of these paths have the potential to lead you to the summit, where you can find the view you've been looking for. You're going to choose your path, just as with many things in life. I will walk alongside you as we ascend the mountain, meeting daily goals along the way. As we move forward, we'll process the roots, rocks, caves, and canyons we traverse. Why do you keep tripping over them, and why are they holding you back? Understanding the difference between firmness and gentleness is a needed perspective to heal. The key component to long-term contentedness and peace is the right effort within the right process. My goal is to build a trusting, respectful relationship and work together with you to facilitate learning and long-term growth. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With extensive experience in providing individual and group guidance, I utilize many healing approaches, including meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation, and sound healing. These are coupled with clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I specialize in a wide range of areas including addiction, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, dissociative disorders, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, narcissistic personality disorder, phobias, PTSD, psychosis/schizophrenia, somatic symptom disorder, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, trauma, and traumatic brain injury. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer virtual sessions. When we work together, you can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where your unique journey is honored. My approach is rooted in respect, empathy, and a commitment to your personal growth. Let's take the first step towards your summit together. Reach out, and let's start this journey.
