Hi there, my name is Marlene, I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about working with young and older adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, loneliness, family issues, relationship issues and loss. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength -Based Therapy to help you make progress and start feeling better. Throughout my 16 years of experience, I have been fortunate to work with young adults, seniors and adults. Some of my areas of specialization include mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, family issues, working to reduce depressive and anxiety symptoms and strengthening self-esteem. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and a Certified Grief Informed Professional. I earned a bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Mercy College, New York, Then I obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Yeshiva University, New York. I have been practicing for over 16 years and have worked in several different settings including outpatient therapy, mobile crisis, inpatient therapy and private practice.
