I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for three years. I enjoy walking with teenagers, adults, and couples. My heart beats for those who are in pain. I take pleasure in assisting clients in learning healthy and therapeutic tools to cope with life's curve balls. I utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, which highlights what clients would like to achieve during therapy rather than challenges. I assist clients envision a hopeful future and build on their strengths. I have been a Certified School Counselor for almost 20 years in the state of Louisiana and Texas. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and Nationally Certified School Counselor. I have extensive experience with ARD/IEP procedures, 504 plans, behavior intervention plans, crisis intervention, and suicidal ideation. The counseling field is not simply a career for me; however, counseling is a calling for me to serve those in need by promoting a process of change that brings guidance and healing. I specialize in individual counseling, anxiety, depression, parenting guidance, physical and sexual trauma, and marriage counseling. I support clients who are experiencing depression and anxiety to help manage feelings of being trapped. My therapy approach is rooted in Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, which I customize to meet the needs of each individual client. My focus is to assist clients in developing self-awareness and adapt healthier coping skills to navigate life's transitions. I empower my clients to gain a deeper understanding of who they are and how thoughts and behaviors impact their livelihood.
