My name is Marlene Kastrinos. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a PhD in chemical dependency and a Master’s in Social Work from Florida International University. I have worked as a therapist for 25 years, many of those years in my private practice, Emotional Resource Center. I provide telephonic or virtual therapy, offering you a safe and private session. I accept health insurance. My clientele are adults who may have alcohol or drug dependency. I also work with clients who have experienced anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, adjustment disorder, women’s issues, just to name a few. I believe I am down to earth and a good listener who has worked with many different populations. I am solution-oriented and open-minded. I welcome anyone looking for a therapist to guide and assist them in facing and solving their issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session is focused on intake and gathering some personal and family history. This helps me get a more wholistic understanding of you and assist me in customizing your treatment. We will always leave intake with some potential goals for you to strive towards. Our following sessions will start with you identifying a specific focus so that you can start the process of reaching your goals.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge.
