I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and that treatment should be tailored to the individual. I likes to focus on reasonable and attainable goal setting and use of practical skills so that the individual can see the most progress in and out of session. I enjoy creating an open and honest environment where her clients can feel seen, heard and understood. I strongly encourage collaboration in my everyday practice and I invite you to join me. I have a wide range of experience in my 10+ year career. I have worked with children and families in rural Western North Carolina, adults with serious and persistent mental illness in the state hospital system and outpatient therapy with all ages in the Triangle. I believe with this wide range of professional and personal experience that I can meet your needs and provide the care you are seeking. I work with adolescents, adults and older adults utilizing the approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and provides trauma-informed care to all. I also enjoy clarifying diagnoses and providing psychoeducation for those who are either starting off in their mental health journey or those who have been in treatment for a while.
