My entire experience with Marni Greenwald, MA, LCAT has been wonderful. She is extremely kind- hearted and really listens. Her advice and expertise is truly appreciated and I am so glad that I have finally found someone that is compassionate and is truly helping me through my journey.
I have been working with Marni for the past 3 months. She is awesome. As an artist myself, her style of therapy compliments my personality. I've had some breakthrough moments during our sessions that have helped me grow as a person.
Marni is great! She holds the space very well and allows my body to feel and process what it needs to without any judgement or restriction. It has been positive experience to work through what I have been holding in.
I am so happy I found her through Zocdoc. Every time I have something go on, she gives me advice on how to cope. I get excited every time I meet with her because I know the feeling once we are done with our session, I feel like a new person. Please see her she’s the best! Thank you doctor for everything you have helped me with!
This is my first time taking therapy and it has been the best decision. Marni has changed my life. She’s very respectful, compassionate and cares about you.
I highly enjoyed my sessions with Marni. She's warm, welcoming, professional, artistic and has a kind, loving presence. Our sessions were all online and she was always flexible and happy to reschedule whenever I needed.
Marni is the most caring, attuned, attentive and empathic person and therapist. She cares so much about her patient and work very hard to provide an emotional safe space space without any judgment or preconception. She is there to understand, contain and help you to make your on progress on your own pace. She looks for your strengths and your uniqueness rather than to help you to fit to boxes that might not be necessarily your "right boxes". I am blessed that she is part of my personal journey.
I had a hard time finding a therapist for a while, and each time it didn't work out it would set me back months because I felt discouraged. I am beyond grateful to have found Marni when I did. I am also a mental health counselor so I think finding someone who asks the hard questions that I do not ask myself has been really important. Marni created a safe, and welcoming environment where I have been able to discuss some of the most challenging life experiences i have had but also makes room for me to vent about the mundane day to day stuff. Most importantly, she has validated and affirmed my feelings in a way that I have not given myself the opportunity to do before starting sessions with her. I'm thankful.
From the first visit, Marni made me feel extremely comfortable. She always made me feel safe and supported. She helped me through an extremely difficult time in my life and went out of her way to find outside sources to help me get out of a difficult situation. Her combination of traditional therapy along with alternative methods was exactly what I needed at that time. She continued to check in with me and make sure I was okay even on days we weren’t scheduled to talk. She really is a kind, caring soul who was made to help people on their healing journeys. I would absolutely recommend her.
Marni is a wonderfully kind and caring therapist that I highly recommend. She is a skillful listener and takes her time to fully understand my thoughts, feelings and concerns. Marni has helped me work through my issues and reflect on my feelings using helpful creative assignments. I always look forward to our sessions and she has help me make great progress with my healing and recovery.
I'm super grateful to have met Marni and to be her client; she is a fantastic therapist. I feel like she really understands what I've been through in the past. She listens intently when I need to express my feelings or my story, and there are plenty of times when she's helped me overcome obstacles on my own. She has introduced me to exercises that I incorporate into my daily lifestyle that help even my toughest days to go by easier. It's definitely the emotional work and soul work I've been looking for. I really enjoy meeting with Marni on a regular basis and would absolutely recommend her!
Marni is a kind and compassionate person who I have become incredibly comfortable with. She is very understanding with any scheduling conflicts and has a super quick response time.
I always look forward to my visits with Marni. I felt comfortable with her right away and had no problem opening up right away. The conversation and questions always flow really well and I always feel heard.
I have been working with Marni for almost a year now in Art/Talk Therapy. Her approach can be described as open and comforting. She has been very willing to experiment with me as we've found methods to discuss and work through my PTSD. She works to get to know her clients wholistically and has helped me feel more empowered to make decisions that promote healing and my overall well-being. My past experiences with therapists have felt invasive and ultimately became associated with further unsafe spaces. Marni has changed my experience with a therapist, allowing me to communicate through metaphors and art as well as conversation. She's very understanding and kind about scheduling and has continuously made me feel supported through any conflict or struggle in the duration of working together.
I love my visits with Marni, she is such a nurturing force that allows my inner child to express herself. She attunes to my needs and gives me creative assignments that take me deeper within to allow the expressions to come out. Through it all providing a healing and therapeutic environment for my inner child to finally feel safe and at ease to be her authentic self.
Our visits are always very pleasant to be apart of. I love how intuitive and kind Marni is. We bring very important topics to surface and speak with an open heart. She is attentive and offers amazing perspective to me and my art.
