“I really enjoy working with Martana. I was really nervous about finding a new therapist and being able to fully open up trust someone new again. After finding her, it really felt comfortable from day one. Not only is she very easy to talk to but can also keep things real with you too, which I need. It doesn’t feel like you’re talking to someone who doesn’t care or is just doing it for their job, but someone who actually wants to help! I would definitely recommend giving her a try if you are looking for a therapist!! ”

Getting to know Martana Redden

Have you ever woken up and felt like it was too late to change? I’m here to tell you that at any given moment, you can make the decision to live the life you desire. When we avoid addressing our past and present issues, we can develop unhealthy thinking patterns, behaviors, and ways of coping that we don’t even recognize. Over time, when these changes go unaddressed, they begin to impact the relationship we have with ourselves, as well as with those around us. Healing and transformation are easier said than done, and there is nothing wrong with connecting to a professional you can identify with to help you through the process. I am passionate about stripping away labels and establishing a healthy way of living. I will walk alongside you and help you overcome the barriers standing in the way of the person you desire to be. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State University, which equip me to support you on this journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I know taking any step towards securing therapy service is not easy. It takes an abundant amount of courage to choose yourself and move forward with seeking the help of someone else. With this being said, I place a lot of emphasis on rapport building in sessions. I prioritize making sure you feel 100% comfortable from the very beginning! Some characteristic traits I've heard from client's over the years are relatable, honest, compassionate, empathetic and humorous. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and believe there is no cookie cutter approach to treatment. You can expect individualized services that will meet your needs and the very best from me in every session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First session will consist of a biopsychosocial assessment, which is a holistic evaluation of a person's biological, psychological, and social factors to understand how they contribute to their health and well-being. From there we will goal set and begin tackling your goals. Typically, client's start off with sessions every 1-2 weeks depending on their needs. We will taper down our session frequency as symptoms begin to improve.

I really enjoy working with Martana.
I absolutely love Marty. She has helped me tremendously with my trauma and anxieties. She is very compassionate and firm when it’s needed. She has helped me work through and overcome obstacles and learn how to advocate for myself. I would definitely recommend her. She’s done wonderful things with my life.
I have tried many therapists in the past, but none can hold a candle to Martana! I have been seeing Marty for about 8 months now, and I have never left a session without feeling relieved. She is attentive, funny, prompts you to self reflect, and has provided me with tools that I use on a daily basis. I would absolutely recommend Martana (as long as she's not too busy to book MY appointment!) She is a true gem! :)
I owe so much to Martana. She has helped me through many hurdles with grace and patience and is very real and relatable. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone struggling with their mental health or even anyone that just needs to talk.
I absolutely love Marty as my therapist! She is a wonderful listener and does a great job redirecting my unhelpful thought patterns. I even receive homework from her which I work on outside of the sessions and bring back for review. Great structure and I've made exceptional progress with her.
I’m so grateful for Martana! I’ve been seeing her for more than 6mo on a weekly basis the and she has helped me through so much. She’s great at feedback and adjusting to what works for me. She is very kind and considerate even when I know I am being a bit stubborn or difficult. She’s been an amazing therapist and I’m fortunate have found her!
Martana she listen to what your concerns are and will actually challenge you on some of your thoughts, and not just go with the flow. I really enjoy my sessions and have recommended her to several of my close friends.
Martana is easily the best therapist I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to several different therapists before seeing her, and I’ve made noticeably more progress with her than anyone before. I feel like I’ve grown and become a much more resilient person working with her, whereas some therapy before just felt like a space to vent but didn’t support a lot of actual growth. She’s so kind and supportive while also giving practical feedback and homework. It’s the first time I felt like I’ve actually been actively learning coping mechanisms, rather than solely talking through problems. Needless to say, I highly highly recommend Martana! She’ll help you unravel your issues and behaviors in a way that you may have never considered before, and she’s fun to talk to along the way!
Martana Eldridge is very professional yet extremely personable. She has really gotten me on the path of transformation for the better. I feel like me 2.0. She is so caring and makes sure to focus on the needs of her clients I’d recommend her to anyone!
Martana is an excellent listener and communicator. I believe she really cares for your well being. She really took the time to make sure she understood me as an individual and my circumstances. Highly recommended!!
