Marty Burke, LPC

Marty Burke, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
My undergraduate degree is in Physical Education and English from the University of Texas at Arlington. I taught high school English and coached women's basketball, volleyball, track, and cross country before completing my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of North Texas. I find that my coaching and teaching experience enhance my skills as a therapist, as I connect with people easily, gain their respect and trust quickly, and am able to motivate them to become their best selves. I have experience providing therapy for police and fire department personnel as well as the military community. I was a Department of Defense counselor providing substance abuse counseling, then worked for MHN counseling military personnel and their family members dealing with loss, PTSD, and multiple deployments. I also created an intensive outpatient program for felony probation and provided substance abuse treatment to felons referred by the courts.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
