Getting to know Marvin Amos

My path to becoming a therapist began early, witnessing firsthand the effects of mental illness, addiction, and trauma. This personal experience fueled a deep desire to help others, leading me to dedicate my career and education to mental health. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, focusing on mental illness, addiction, and supporting children and families. My Ph.D. in Public Health further enriched my understanding of holistic well-being. In our sessions, I blend clinical expertise with a client-centered approach, ensuring your unique journey guides our work. My passion lies in fostering healing and empowering individuals to connect with opportunities that improve their lives. I believe everyone deserves a safe, confidential space to explore their challenges and become their best self. To best support you, I prioritize my own emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual health, finding joy in connecting with my family, cycling, and spending time outdoors.
