Getting to know Mary Angela Rogers

I like to think of my office as a judgment-free zone. I will listen to what you have to say and refrain from any personal judgment. My greatest quality as a therapist is compassion. I, too, have experienced some rough spots along the way and understand something about emotional pain. If you choose to embark on this journey with me, I will provide guidance, encouragement, and support, drawing on over 30 years of experience. I love working with diverse populations and am myself a member of the LGBTQ community. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My specialties include mood disorders. anxiety management, overcoming addictions and helping people work through a history of physical, emotional, spiritual and sexual trauma, I welcome adults and adolescents who want a more peace centered life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
