Mary Ayllon, LCMHC, LPC

Psychotherapist
AL
I have 11 years of experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, family problems, OCD, and trauma. I am also a parent and a pastor's wife, and I have experience working with parenting issues, spiritual concerns, and church problems. My therapy style is meant to create a safe space that is warm, comfortable, and motivating. I value your trust and want you to feel comfortable being open about your goals for therapy. If a client desires, I am also trained and able to provide Christian counseling. A Biblical worldview reminds us that we are made in God's image, but we all also experience brokenness in and all around us. This approach uses psychology through the lens of the Bible to give us a deeper hope that we don't have to get through hard things alone. Often starting therapy can feel scary or awkward. It takes courage, but through it people become more open and start to see themselves in a new light. They grow and feel supported and more empowered. Starting therapy is a brave step towards healing, restoration, and a life of joy. I would be honored to work with you along your journey!
