Hello, I'm Mary. Deciding to begin therapy can be an emotionally challenging time, especially if you are suffering from abuse, depression, or anxiety. It can feel like no one understands what you're going through, and it is hard to open up about these issues. This is where I come in. I am here to support and empower you. I will treat you with respect and understanding for your unique situation. We will also use mindfulness in our sessions together to help you become more in tune with yourself as well as develop positive coping skills. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My expertise includes seeing adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and physical and sexual trauma. Additionally, I offer support for perinatal issues, stress, trauma, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, life transitions, military/veteran support, and intimate/romantic relationships. My counseling style is collaborative and client-centered, allowing you to achieve your goals at your own pace. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we will work on developing strategies that foster resilience and promote healing. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about mindfulness and its benefits in everyday life. I enjoy incorporating these practices into my work with clients to help them find balance and peace.
