Psychotherapist
MD
Have you ever been labeled as "lazy," "too much," "too sensitive," or "attention-seeking"? Do you struggle at school or work yet excel in areas that genuinely interest you? Do you often feel like you can’t be your authentic self around others, except perhaps with a few safe people? Whether you’ve been formally diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or are exploring the possibility of neurodivergence such as ADHD or autism, navigating a world designed for neurotypical people can be exhausting—even debilitating. I specialize in working with people who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or out of sync with the world around them. Whether you're exploring your identity, managing anxiety, navigating relationships, or seeking to understand your neurodivergence, my goal is to create a collaborative, non-hierarchical partnership that honors your unique strengths. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on a variety of different modalities including ACT, Narrative Therapy, IFS, Strenghts based, and Motivational Interviewing. My goal is to partner with you to uncover what approach or approaches work best for you and in service of your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to begin with an exploration into your goals and hopes for therapy. Learning about what works and what doesn't, what you have or have not tried before in therapy. Typically, clients share that they feel our work together is collaborative and easy going. I try to bring an authenticity to my relationship with clients that can encourage exploration into some of life's most challenging areas.
