Mary EmersonFollick, LMHC

Mary EmersonFollick, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
I'm a licensed mental health counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I understand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to navigate these challenges, and how much courage it takes to seek support. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also bring extensive experience in grief work, helping clients move through loss and life transitions with care and understanding. For those who desire it, I'm able to integrate a Christian perspective into our work together. Whether it's drawing strength from faith, exploring spiritual questions, or grounding our sessions in biblical principles, I honor and support each client's individual beliefs and values. Healing is a deeply personal journey, and I believe that with the right support, you can overcome what feels impossible today. Together, we'll work to ease the weight of anxiety or depression, develop meaningful coping strategies, and help you reconnect with hope, purpose, and inner peace.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
