I have been working in mental health for 40 years as a therapist and counselor educator. My specialties are working with clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, excessive worry, life transitions, grief and stress management.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work from a positive framework to help clients learn new coping skills, realize their existing strengths, develop self-love and acceptance and feel more confident in their self-care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients from the first session to establish an understanding of their issues and we set behavioral goals to work on between sessions. I also listen without judgment and provide clients with support and insight. My clients often feel lighter after the first session and continue to improve over the course of our work together.
