Mary Gapsch, LPC

Psychotherapist
MO
Hello, I'm Mary. I received my Master's degree in the mental health field from Webster University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of techniques to best meet your needs. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and person-centered approaches that recognize and respect the uniqueness of each individual. Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of working with children and their families, and I find this work incredibly rewarding. Recently, I have been training in equine-assisted therapy and have loved every minute of it. This unique approach allows for a different kind of connection and healing process, which I am excited to incorporate into my practice. My goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with life through self-discovery. I deeply appreciate the power of simply being understood by another person, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard and valued. Something unique about my style is that I believe in being transparent, upfront, and honest about your issues. I feel that every one of my clients has the ability to find that strength inside them that they need to be successful in life. Everyone's definition of success is different, and I am here to support you in finding and achieving your own version of it. If you're ready to start this journey together, I would be honored to work with you. Let's take the first step towards your healing and growth.
