Hi there, I'm Mary! My approach to therapy is to utilize whatever is necessary for my client. They are in charge of their destiny, and I’m here to help support the process as needed. My focus areas depend on what my clients need, whether it’s Person-Centered, CBT, or other approaches deemed necessary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. My approach I choose what is in the best interest of the client, using different therapeutic methods to create successful therapy. My focus I work with groups, families, couples, individuals, and young adults facing a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, suicide, grief, separation, divorce, and PTSD, just to name a few. My communication style I’m nonjudgmental, empathic, direct but fair. I’m easy to work with and quite pleasant. My journey to mental healthcare I was destined to become a therapist. I didn’t choose it; it chose me. Becoming a therapist is my calling and my lifelong desire to help others.
