Getting to know Mary Hosey-Pardi
Hello!
My name is Mary Hosey-Pardi. I graduated from Syracuse University in 1999 with my Master’s in Social Work, and I was a school social worker for over twenty years in New York. This allowed me to work extensively with both children and families. I started in the area of Telehealth in the summer of 2020, taking clients from all over the United States and other countries as well.
I am a people person who greatly enjoys helping others. My passion for counseling will shine immediately. I am easy to talk to and have many years of experience with various issues and life challenges. I will be supportive and at your side throughout the counseling journey. It takes courage to enter counseling, and we can work as a team to help you become the best version of yourself. We will explore new skills and tools that will guide you to the best solutions.
I am a licensed social worker in New York, Florida, and North Carolina. I am also a qualified Florida supervisor.
At this time, I am in the process of obtaining my doctorate in social work (DSW) with an emphasis on disaster and crisis intervention.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I look at counseling as a joint effort. In the first session we will get to know each other. During this time you will learn more about me in order for us to understand each other. I feel strongly it is important that we relate. This will be a safe, nonjudgemental and supportive environment. Moving forward we will work together to problem solve building on your strengths.
I have a flexible schedule and can meet more than what is listed on my platform we can find mutual times to meet again at the end of each session.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
