I am passionate about guiding individuals who feel unsatisfied with how they are showing up for themselves, their relationships, and their goals. What should a new client know about working with you?

Mary Kate specializes in working with professionals who are feeling suffocated by the pressures of modern life. Anxious, burnt out, and stuck reaching for behaviors that no longer serve them. ? Above all, Mary Kate believes that everything is relational, and that the most important relationship we have is the one we nourish with ourselves. She empowers her clients to refine, deepen, and strengthen their communication, foster emotional intimacy with themselves and others. She helps to address cyclical relational patterns that feel difficult to end.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In session, Mary Kate is direct, genuine and warm. She uses her innate compassion and humor to connect with others. She practices primarily from a strengths-based, psychodynamic and ACT/CBT framework. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR, experiential therapy, and Gottman Therapy. ?Mary Kate has nearly a decade of experience working in a variety of treatment settings, but has found immeasurable value, and her “home” in the longer-term work that individual therapy can provide. She works primarily with issues related to anxiety, trauma, addiction, relational challenges and coaching. Mary Kate does not believe there is a “one-size fits all” method to personal growth. Furthermore, she believes that a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy brings about the most benefit to her clients.
